Heathrow Express is the fastest way to get from Heathrow to Central London. Our trains take just 15 minutes from Terminals 1, 2 and 3 to Paddington and run every 15 minutes. Our stations are open 365 days a year and nearly 24 hours a day. Little wonder then we carry an average of 16,000 passengers every day. In this high-profile role, youll help us carry even more.
Youll do that by leading our Customer facing teams on a shift basis, weather you are working in one of our Heathrow Stations or at our Central London home, Paddington. This frontline team are expected to deliver our core values, Safe Easy and Exemplary to every one of our customers, every time.
What youll do
Youll be there to lead, motivate and inspire our team. Looking after a team of people on any given shift, youll ensure they are adhering to our exemplary standards of Safety, Customer Service, Train Performance and Revenue Generation, whilst ensuring our station environments are safe, secure and welcoming.
Youll lead our team, coordinate their activities and continually look for new ways to drive performance. You will have a passion for safety and service. You will work with a team of Performance Delivery Managers supporting day to day people management to ensure that our people are engaged. You will be motivated and inspired to provide exemplary service in a busy and demanding operational environment.
What were looking for
Confident and credible, youll have led people in an operational environment, whilst maintaining standards and successfully providing exemplary service to customers. Youll be someone who is able to stand out from the crowd and knows how to motivate people to get the best out of those around you. Youll have coaching experience and the drive to deliver results. Flexibility is important too, as youll be working shift patterns that will often call for 24 hour cover, early starts (4.25am) and late finishes (02.00am) on a seven-day rolling roster.
This is an active and physically demanding mobile role, which requires a full safety critical medical to assess your health and physical fitness.
