A leading European consultancy company is seeking a highly skilled Hydrology & Drainage Expert to join an ambitious water project in Saudi Arabia. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to essential water management solutions in one of the fastest-growing regions for water infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hydrological & Hydraulic Analysis: Conduct comprehensive studies of hydrological conditions and perform hydraulic modelling to design drainage systems for sustainable water management.
• Project Planning & Implementation: Lead and support the planning, design, and implementation of drainage solutions, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Risk Assessment: Perform flood risk analysis and assess environmental impacts related to drainage systems and water flow.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with local authorities, engineering teams, and environmental specialists to align project goals and streamline processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years in hydrology, hydraulic modelling, and drainage design, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or water management projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in hydrological modelling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, MIKE, SWMM), GIS applications, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with international drainage standards is essential.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
