But there are new and even more ambitious changes ahead and an even stronger emphasis on safety is at the heart of this transformation.
Join us in this important role and youll have every opportunity to use your risk assessment skills to the full. Undertaking inspection, faulting and maintenance, youll drive and put into action proposals to improve operational safety on level crossings in your area. Additional key tasks will include reviewing planning applications involving level crossings and arranging the drafting of necessary paperwork for modernisation or renewal projects.
Youll need:
• Sound grasp of ORR Principles and Guidance relating to level crossings
• Good knowledge of quantified and qualitative risk assessment tools and techniques
• Talent for clear, persuasive communication
• Experience of preparing concise and informative reports
