Ford & Stanley - The Digital Rail Specialists are looking for an Operations Manager to join their clients team based in Dunfermline. My Client is an industry leader in providing Wireless internet connectivity for the passenger transport sector which includes Air, Rail and Sea.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen in my clients Dunfermline office for an exceptional and committed individual, to be responsible for managing their team of technical account managers and helping to ensure they continue to deliver fantastic service to their customers and passengers.
This is a varied and challenging role which requires lots of energy and drive, working closely with the teams in other regions and ensuring the company are always acting in the best interests of our clients.
Main Responsibilities
* Leading a team of TAMs (Technical Account Managers) as well as other disciplines
* Addressing any tactical challenges that may arise and ensuring the TAMs are able to continue servicing our customers as efficiently as possible
* Building strong relationships with contacts in other regions to ensure access to robust escalation paths
* Contributing to the strategy for the UK Operations team along with other members of the UK Ops management team
* Attending service reviews or other customer meetings as required
* Co-ordinating incident responses as appropriate and ensuring good communication both internally and externally
* Considering any opportunities to build/maintain revenues and working with our KAMs (Key Account Managers) to deliver on these
The Ideal Candidate
* 2+ years' experience leading large multi-disciplined teams, ideally within the IT or transport industry
* Excellent commutation and stakeholder management skills, you will be responsible building and maintaining relationships with customers and co-workers across all regions.
