The role reports to the Operations Manager with functional input via team leaders to the production departments.

• The role involves shaping & coordinating plans & budgets, cascading & aligning with the overall business needs.
• Leading a multi-functional operational team including management of projects and initiatives to bring focus to improving performance and drive greater efficiency across the sites & teams in support of production.

Experience / Skills / Personal Attributes

• To be successful in this role you'll need the skills to build relationships, influence peers, move seamlessly between strategy & tactical planning, and have a resilient creative approach to challenges. Perhaps an armed forces background.
• You'll be managing multiple projects and audit work so strong project management skills are a must. With this you'll need to use your strong interpersonal skills to confidently present findings to our clients about their products.
• Resourceful, resilient and solution orientated
• Highly organised with proven leadership qualities.
  
• Great attention to detail, with a creative & inclusive approach
  
• Qualified to at least HNC level in an engineering discipline (ideally electrical / electronics)
