Ewi, the market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is very proud to be partnering with Rail Baltica to provide staffing support for the 670km High speed passenger and freight line linking Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia (and indirectly Finland) to the European network via Poland. The project is forecast to cost €5.8billion and the construction is scheduled to take 10years.
Opportunity:
As part of the organisation Rail Baltica are requiring a number of Key Rail Specialist to join their organisation on a temporary basis to not only implement and operate process to ensure the successful delivery of this major, high profile project but also to train and upskill local engineers.

Typical requirements for positions:
- Hold relevant degree and/or professional body qualification in related fields
- Over 5 years' experience fulfilling the same roles and duties on Rail Projects.
- Professional experience working at international level strongly preferred.
- Able to benchmark and apply best practices of large infrastructure projects.
- Extensive Stakeholder Management and engagement experience at various managerial levels and on various subjects.
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation and interpersonal cooperation skills.
- Resilient to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work under pressure within a team and individually.
- Ability and willingness to support and train more junior Engineers.

Salary Package:
The freelance rate for this assignment is to be confirmed considering taxation, living cost and allowances. The role would be on an initial 6 to 12 months contract but with likely extensions.
