Sales Coordinator
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire (commutable from Ashby de la Zouch, Loughborough, Burton upon Trent, Leicester & Derby)
Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 depending on experience
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am to 5.30pm (one hour lunch break)

Our industry-leading brands include a trade news magazine for the UK Rail industry with over 160,000 monthly readers and an engineering magazine focusing on global rail infrastructure with over 50,000 monthly readers. We also run the number one job board in the rail industry and our news website/eNewsletters offer up to the minute rail news. In addition to our print and online offerings, our growing events business runs several awards events and conferences.
Who we're looking for:
We are now looking for a Sales Coordinator to join the team in Coalville to support our media sales, recruitment advertising and events staff. Initially, your main focus will be to support our industry leading website RailwayPeople.com so experience with job boards and recruitment would give you a distinct advantage over other potential candidates.

The Role
You will be given the chance to build effective relationships with existing and new clients, helping our company to further maximise advertising sales opportunities across our portfolio of magazines, websites, eNewsletters and events.
You will play a key role in our business sales strategy as you promote a range of trusted rail industry publications/events, working closely with our experienced team of professionals who will be on hand to provide you with a sound understanding of the business.
Office administration experience is required, preferably in a sales environment but attention to detail and willingness to learn is really what we’re looking for in a person!
About You
To be considered for the role, you will hopefully have experience in some of the following areas -
· A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role (previous sales/account management experience preferred)
· Have excellent IT and administration skills
· Love talking to people and have a knack for understanding their needs
· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
· A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A* - C including English and Maths
· Rail industry experience or an interest in engineering would be a definite plus!
