Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager - Human Factors Modelling
Location: Predominantly Home & Field Based - Regional Office Availability
Rate: £45kpa (Base) + Dividends + excellent private pension scheme with 2x company contribution
My client is a leading global engineering organisation who have worked on some of the biggest civil infrastructure projects in the world. Their leading reputation for delivering on complex, one of a kind projects sees them host an impressive client base from rail, highways and built environment through to specialist government led major infrastructure programmes.
They are currently looking to expand their sales team for an innovative product that will support their engineering clients and projects. This specialist software uses advanced 3D BIM technology and human factors knowledge to produce live crowd modelling simulations, for use within buildings and infrastructure design.
Ideally candidates will come from a civil engineering, human factors or software background and feel confident communicating the benefits of the software and its technical capabilities for engineering projects. This will often mean understanding the technical and practical challenges engineers are facing within the design phase of their infrastructure projects and how the software can address these and merge with current CAD products to assist a robust and practical model for technical analysis.
Person Requirements:
*HNC/HND/Degree Qualified - ideally within a science, technology, engineering, human geography or IT discipline
*Previous experience working within the engineering industry - ideally within civil engineering or infrastructure design/planning
*Previous sales experience is ideal but we will consider engineers or software professionals that are looking to take the step into a more commercially biased role
