Rail Concrete Quality Specialist (QA/QC) Underground - Philippines The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced QA/QC Specialist with a strong knowledge of Concrete &amp; Underground structures for a Metro project in Manila, Philippines that is moving into Construction phase. Opportunity:This is a fantastic opportunity to join a project which demonstrates the continued investment in the Manila Transport infrastructure. The successful individual shall be joining the team and playing a key role in its successful execution. You shall be working for a leading international consultancy on behalf of the end client. Responsibilities:The successful individual will working across Tunnelling &amp; Stations components of the project with duties including:<ul><li>Reviewing Contractors Quality Document submissions, including Concrete Mix Designs, Inspection and Test Plans and Material Submissions.</li><li>Ensure compliance to Project Requirements and Local / International Technical Standards for Concrete Works.</li><li>Manage related concrete non-conformance issues and ensure implementation of corrective action proposals.</li><li>Coordination with Client teams, Quality Team and Resident Engineer Teams on concrete (Reinforced Concrete and Precast Concrete) material and inspection activities and approvals.</li><li>Site Supervision of Contractors Activities.</li></ul><ul><li>Verify and manage compliance with quality receiving inspections covering cement, aggregates, reinforcing steel, related concrete materials and mix design constituents.</li><li>Supervise site laboratory activities.</li><li>Attend Contractors site concrete quality inspections, witnessing formwork and precast mould preparation, reinforcement installation, concrete placement including slump and temperature checks, and curing processes.</li><li>Ensure verification of site records for compliance to drawings, materials, specifications and quality processes.</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in routine Quality Team meetings. </li><li>Report to Quality Team Leader and prepare end-of-day QC activity reports.</li></ul> Key requirements for the role:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in Rail construction projects</li><li>Previous Quality Management experience.</li><li>Developing world experience (ideally South or South East Asia)</li></ul> Salary Package:The salary package on offer is in the region of $8-10,000 Tax free with a package. Rail Tunnel Manager - PhilippinesThe market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Tunnel Manager with strong TBM &amp; NATM experience for an ongoing Metro Rail Project in Manila.Opportunity:Working as part of a Contractor Joint venture you shall be joining an international team who are responsible for carrying out the tunnelling and 2 stations using TBM and Top Down methods. The project is a long-term ODA financed project being carried out to FIDIC conditions.This is a long-term opportunity to join the project and play a key role in its successful delivery.Responsibilities:The successful Tunnelling Specialist shall be leading all tunnelling activities, working closely with both International and external stakeholders.
