Your role, and what you’ll be doing:The Senior Design Engineer will own deliverables through specification development, development and deployment of SCADA and control system solutions, setting technical direction and continually refining engineering best practice.You will play a key role in shaping system architectures, functionality design and first-in-type solutions, driving reuse and where appropriate while also leading the creation of new, modular components where the solution demands it. About The Role: EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Were looking to recruit a Site Engineer with Earthworks and Drainage experience on a freelance basis to join our team based in the Calvert Area. The Site Engineer is responsible on site for other junior engineers and assists in the construction operations for the section of works. You will be required to liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out M&amp;E works activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You will be responsible for work with the other team members of the setting out team and be responsible for the performance and development M&amp;E Sub-Contractors and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent. Specification and coordination of varied contractors and time frame to ensure smooth delivery in a just in time fashion.
