Chief Rolling Stock Expert - Rail Project, India (Expat Position)

EWI are supporting a leading European consultancy in their search for a highly experienced Chief Rolling Stock Expert for a major rail project in India. This role is open to expatriates only and offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape key phases of the project with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee Detail Design and Construction Design reviews
• Supervise on-site works and provide expert support during Testing & Commissioning (T&C)
• Support trial runs and the final project takeover process
• Manage Contractor's contract and interface with multiple stakeholders
• Serve as a primary liaison between the project Contractor and Client

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related field
• 20+ years of professional experience in the rail industry
• Minimum 7 years of focused experience in rolling stock
• Minimum 5 years in a Chief or senior management position
• Proven track record in project leadership, team coordination, and technical oversight on large-scale rail projects
