ERTMS Signalling Engineer: Finland

We are currently recruiting for a ERMTS Signalling Engineer required to work for an established European railway engineering consultancy on major upcoming high speed railway projects in Helsinki, Finland. You will be English speaking and have experience working on railway on major rail and metro projects.

Ideal candidates will be Degree qualified in Engineering, with strong understanding of ETCS / ERTMS signalling systems, design principles and project engineering.

The role
The key purpose of the role is to provide expertise for design and systems for ERTMS for high speed signalling
You will also be helping to develop in house ERTMS team, including developing staff skills and competence.
As the expert you will manage the works of the main contractor who design and install the Signalling systems on the projects once announced.
You will report all findings and project updates to senior directors and also the government rail organisation in Finland.

Requirements to apply
Degree Qualified in Engineering
7+ years of experience in railway signalling, including high speed signalling ERTMS/ETCS system.
Strong communication skills in English.
Project experience in Scandinavia is preferred but not essential.
Experience working with a manufacturer such as Alstom, Bombardier, Siemens ect... is preferred but not essential.
Right to work in European Union is essential
