Project Engineer - Signalling CRE

Location:
York / Hybrid Working

Salary / Benefits:
£45,000 - £65,000 per annum plus car/car allowance and package, negotiable dependant on level of experience and qualifications.

Company Information:

An opportunity has arisen for a Signalling Project Engineer to join a princiapl tier 1 railway contractor, working on various projects across the UK, looking for candidates within a reasonable commute to York. Ie Doncaster, Leeds, Hull.

Seeking candidates with:

• Significant demonstrable experience working within signalling engineering, successfully delivering projects from start to finish
• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or A Minimum HNC or higher qualification in a related discipline and / or professional membership of IET would be advantageous or compensating experience.
• Ideally carried out the role of Contractors Responsible Engineer or (CRE).
• Emergency Fire and First Aid, technical training to meet contract and business requirements
• PTS

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;

• Worked as a CEM
• A Degree in in an appropriate Engineering subject
• IRSE Engineering Manager / Project Engineer Licence (Desirable)
• Incorporated / Chartered Engineer status or evidence of working towards it.

Role Information;

You will be responsible for the full range of signalling systems on one or more of our projects. As a key member of the Project Management team you will ensure engineering excellence is achieved throughout the life cycle of the project, from design and implementation through to test and commissioning. You will also manage your resources and team effectively to deliver exceptional signalling engineering to agreed plans and budgets.
