The Opportunity
We are currently looking for Project Supervisor - Signals to join our team on a full-time 3 year fixed-term basis.
The Role
As the Project Supervisor - Signals, you will be responsible to plan, manage and control the execution of Capital Signalling upgrade and maintenance projects:
The key responsibilities of the role will be:
- Manage suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors for the provision of services in line with contractual arrangements and statutory obligations;
- Detailed planning and documentation of construction works enabling the efficient and safe replacement of signalling and communication systems;
- Liaise with the Regional Supervisor (Signals & Communication) and Engineers to discuss constructability and maintainability of systems, and provide options for resolution of issues;
- Manage inventory for the signalling projects and assist Project Lead / Engineer in procurement processes;
- Oversee the activities of contractors on the rail reserve, which include reviewing, endorsing and validating contractor maintenance programs and safety requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Certificate Qualification in Project or Construction Management;
- Significant experience in management of signalling construction projects;
- Previous supervisory experience preferred;
- Current driver’s license;
- WA Construction Safety Awareness Card;
- Working at heights permit
- Willing to work away in our regional locations on an on-going basis
