Rail Test & Commissioning Manager - CBTC Signalling - Hong Kong

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning Manager for a major CBTC Signalling project in Hong Kong.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading International engineering manufacturer who have successfully delivered similar projects around the world including Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

As Testing & Commissioning Manager the successful individual shall be responsible for:

• Responsible of factory and site tests activities on a signalling brown field project for Hong Kong
• Elaborate and fit the test Strategy and test Procedures
• Schedule, prepare and lead test activities of Test & Commissioning Team (around 20 peoples) in accordance with test strategy
• Investigate faults on the system and provide a first analysis
• Coordinate and interface with internal teams (project managers, off shore design team) and Client: reporting tests status, definition of features and correction roadmap
• Ensure the application of internal T&C process
• Specify, choose and deploy methodologies (including metrics), tools/platforms necessary for acceptance activities

Key requirements for the role:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, electronic engineering or electrical field
• At least 10 years' working experience in delivering Urban Rail Signalling systems
• At least 5 years' experience in project coordination/ work package management
• At least 5 years' experience with CBTC systems
• Brown field experience required
• Strong Knowledge on System Development Life Cycle
• Strong leadership
• Capacity to schedule activities and follow up
• Flexible working hour and schedule (example: night or weekend)
• Capacity to analyze and have a system point of view / experience in design would be appreciated
• Capacity to summarize and send appropriate reporting
• IRSE License would be preferred
• Fluent in English (oral and writing)

Language:

Fluency in English writing and communication (Cantonese capability is added value but not mandatory)

Salary Package:

This is an senior position with the salary dependent on experience
