Signaling Expert - LRT

A newly awarded EPC contract has been awarded for a complex LRT project in Israel and a team of engineers are required.

The Signaling Expert will advise the Project Company about the signaling rules to be applied, the singular conditions to pay attention to and about the safety measures to take into account along the temporary situations. He/ She will serve as the Project
Company senior technical consultant and will have extensive experience in rail environment. Moreover, the Signaling Expert will have a thorough knowledge of all the requirements, applicable standards and State of the Art practices related with signaling systems

Responsibilities:
Supervise the design principles and its application to ensure the compliance with the local standards and international best practices.
Evaluate the solutions and to propose different approaches.
Assess the plans and strategies for every intervention over the facilities already in operation.
Ensure the signaling systems design is fully compliant with the Projects Requirements, attending mainly to the following systems:
Identify and validate the resolution of all the interfaces regarding the signaling systems
Propose and evaluate solutions either during the Design development or during Construction and Commissioning for any relevant issue related with or involving with the signaling systems' works.
Analyze and validate the Field Design Change proposals.

Reporting Responsibility: Systems Design Manager, Integration Manager.

Authority: he/ she has the overall authority regarding all aspects of the Project's Signalling related issues. Subordinate to this profile are the personnel involved in aforementioned issues.

Requirements:

Will be fluent in English and have an understanding of Hebrew, hold a university or equivalent degree in the required field of competence and/or discipline and conform to the minimum requirements as specified below.

Experience: 10 years in systems or electrical engineering / 3 years in signaling engineering on LRT projectsy client is looking for a team of engineers, one being the Project Manager.
