Signalling Design Engineer
We are currently dealing with a leading multidisciplinary railway infrastructure contractor who is looking to expand their team in Birmingham by recruiting a Signalling Designer to join their Signalling Design Team. Within this position, you will be working amongst multi-disciplinary specialist teams, working on some of the UKs largest rail projects. As Signalling Design Engineer, you will need to possess a relevant IRSE licence and be able to work to deadlines within a proactive team environment.
Within this role as Signalling Design Engineer, you will be required to deliver all aspects of signalling and rail design for a vast number of projects, as well as taking part in time and resource planning. As Signalling Design Engineer, you will be required to support tender submissions, bid development, material planning and project site visits. The role also required you to prepare design outlines for review and independent checking, to carry out risk and impact assessments and undertake surveys on site.

Job requirements:
- IRSE Signalling Design Licence (1.1.510) with an IRSE up to date Logbook
- Experience as Signalling Designer
- AutoCAD and MicroStation experience
- Knowledge of Network Rail Signalling Design Handbook
- Excellent communication sills
- Valid PTS AC & DCCR (preferred)
- UK Driving Licence
