Signalling Design Verifier - Rail

Location: UK Wide (Remote working)

Rate: £380-500 per day inside IR35 (depending on experience)

Duration: 6 months plus

My client is currently looking for a Signalling Design Verifier to join their team. The ideal candidate will be able to work remotely with the option to come in and work in one of the offices. Coming on board they will be tasked with assisting in the production, checking or specifying of complex signalling designs.

What are my responsibilities?

• Prepare, produce and verify railway signalling designs.
• Oversee specifications and reports, working with design drawings of new or altered signalling systems
• Ensure compliance with all Industry standards/ requirements
• Ensure that the technical standards are maintained in all aspects of signalling design work, ensure that safe and successful project implementation and future reliability is achieved.
• Ensure all design's produced comply with client and contractual requirements

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Good knowledge of UK rail standards, design processes and procedures
• Good knowledge in signalling principles
• Previous experience carrying out design checking/Verifying of signalling designs
• Good understanding of signalling systems and technologies.
• Strong and effective communicator at all levels within the business - and in front of new and existing customers - both internal and external.

Essential

• Hold a valid IRSE Signalling Verifier Licence 1.1.160 and a 1.1.510 Signalling Designer licence or 1.1.550 Signalling Principles Designer licence
