Signalling Designer in Sydney or Melbourne, NSW or Victoria, Australia

Australia is booming with generational build and revitalisation of Infrastructure in each of the major capital cities such as the Regional Rail Revival in Victoria, Sydney Metro, Melbourne Airport Rail link, the digitisation of the Sydney Trains network (to ETCS Level 2). Due to the amount of critical infrastructure being built or proposed (forecast for the next decade) there is increasingly a shortage of competent signalling resources to support the works in Australia.

Minus a few bumps Australia has performed very well through the Covid-19 pandemic and is now amongst the most vaccinated locals in the world. The economy is powering ahead and it's still the best place to live in the world!

Our company Tactix is an Australian-owned consultancy business which has been at the forefront of high-profile rail and road transport projects across Australia for almost a decade.

We are committed to maintaining the highest ethical, environmental and social standards, striving for continuous improvement throughout our operations and practices. This commitment extends to all our staff, who will conduct business in a safe, responsible and equitable manner, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.

With our integrated and flexible approach to collaboration, we can easily and quickly adapt to the changing needs of our clients and their customers. Our extensive experience enables us to bring innovative and smart thinking to every stage of the project lifecycle. This is underpinned by a foundation of safety, technical excellence, value for money and customer centricity, which are fundamental to any major city or regional hub connection.

Due to significant demand for our Signalling Services, we are seeking to engage Signal design engineers (all levels) to join the growing Tactix Signalling team (currently 35 strong) and we will be coming to the UK during March 2022 (London, Birmingham, Manchester, York, Glasgow) to meet and recruit key staff. It is also an option that we will be able to base staff in the UK for a period for anyone interested in working on Australian projects, but not necessarily locating full time.

We have the ability to sponsor suitably qualified candidates and will provide a generous relocation package and salary for anyone joining.
