£45,000 - £57,000 per annum negotiable dependant on level of experience and qualifications plus:

Company Information:
A principal contractor with a successful track record of delivering projects on the UK's national rail network is looking to hire a Signalling Project Engineer to join their expanding signalling team.
The role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a long term high profile programme based in Yorkshire.
Key Accountabilities
As signalling project engineer you will be responsible for the engineering works ensuring where required, interfaces are coordinated between the different railway disciplines within the project and internally to ensure design and delivery is achieved to program and budget.
As a key member of the team you will ensure engineering excellence is achieved throughout the life cycle of the project, from pre contract tender input through design and implementation phases through to handover to the client. You will also assist in managing your resources and team effectively to deliver against agreed plans and budgets.
You will be self-motivated with a pro-active approach and have experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Problem solving, communication and good interpersonal skills are a key requirement for this role.
The candidate will also ideally have the following Experience/skill set:
- Experience undertaking Signalling Engineering across GRIP stages.
- Hold or be working towards an IRSE Project engineer's license
- Hold or be working towards Professional Qualification - IEng or CEng
- Experience of undertaking CRE duties
- Previous experience working on an alliance scheme
- Experience at team working/collaborating.
- Confident communication skills, both in writing and in internal and external correspondence.
- Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
