Our client is a leading rail systems company looking for a Rail Signalling Project Engineer based in Hamilton, Scotland. As a Signalling Project Engineer you will undertake the day-to-day management and coordination of the technical and engineering activities for the Signalling discipline.

Role:

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the project team and will act as Project Engineer and Construction Contractors Responsible Engineer.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Liaise with Signalling Design CRE's when required
• Confirm that all signalling construction complies with all applicable standards, legislation, contract requirements and specifications
• Provide engineering support to the preparation of target costs
• Undertake site surveys
• Asses the competence and availability of persons employed by the project on behalf of Signalling to carry out their engineering and technical responsibilities

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Signalling project work
• Valid UK driving license
• COSS and PTS
• Membership of appropriate professional institution

Desirable:

• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
