PSR are currently working in partnership with a leading international and multidisciplinary infrastructure construction company, currently focused on the funding, design and construction of fibre networks, and are growing 3 UK regional hubs.

They currently have an immediate requirement based within their Norfolk regional hub for a Site Supervisor with fibre network experience, to deliver new fibre optic networks in the Norfolk area.

Reporting into the Construction Manager, the Site Supervisor (Fibre Network) will be responsible for:

• Responsible for ensuring that all construction work is compliant with both Health and Safety regulations and company procedures.
• Adopts preventative behaviours and ensures the safety of others on the worksite.
• Ensures compliance with contractual commitments, specifications, and quality of workmanship by supply chain and/or subcontractors.
• Ensures compliance with schedules and plans corrective actions when necessary.
• To manage the public interface with the project, ensure safety and segregation of the public and act politely and professionally as first point of contact with the public and the project
• Ensures compliance with schedules and plans corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensures company equipment is compliant with H&S and fit for purpose with the operatives.
• Ensures stores and equipment are prepared to maximise the operatives ability to work.

For this position, the ideal candidate should have the following skills, experience and knowledge:

Essential:

• Proven and successful track record (5+ years) in Fibre and network building site management or a team leader role.
• Industry standards, and installation practices.
• Detailed knowledge of the construction site and construction methods, tools and materials
• Understand budgetary control and resource allocation procedures.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent written, communication, interpersonal and briefing skills.
• Good interpersonal and time management and proven stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
• NRSW qualification in date and uploaded to NOPS

Desirable:

• Previous Highways/Street works experience
• Knowledge of Norfolk Local Authority's areas and geography
• First Aider
• Unit 2 - Unit 10 street works in date
