Rail Site Supervisor
Location: Based in Manchester with work on national projects required

To ensure that we can successfully deliver future works, and following recent tender awards, we are now looking to expand our rail team and have a number of vacancies.

As Rail Site Supervisor you would be site based, supporting our site and construction managers and ensuring that works on site are managed safely, efficiently and to a high quality. The role is a permanent position. The role would report into our Manchester office and you would deliver national projects.

Key attributes required for this role are:

• Significant experience of supervising and successfully delivering rail projects.
• Must have civils experience. Ideally will also have some experience of station/platform/building works, structural repairs to tunnels/culverts/bridges, painting schemes, troughing & cabling and/or P Way.
• Excellent safety awareness.
• Strong leader on site.
• Desire to deliver works to the highest quality and right first time.
• Good IT skills.
• The ability to manage site paperwork, diaries, quality forms, all necessary inspections.
• Ability to look ahead and plan up to 1 week ahead, ensuring necessary labour, plant and material are identified and on site prior to each shift.
• Good client facing skills.

Minimum qualifications:

• PTS / Sentinel Card, COSS, SSSTS & First Aid essential.
• Applicants should ideally hold a selection of small plant tickets including PASMA (tower scaffold).

Weekend and night-time working, and lodging away, may be required.
