“You will be working for one of the most well-known Contractors in the country acting as a Site Agent for their Station Refurbishments work across Stirlingshire.”

THE COMPANY
One of the most well-known Contractors in Scotland are looking to expand their team by way of Site Agent for a major project based in and around Stirlingshire. Be it landmark station refurbishments or platform extensions, tunnelling or bridges, this contractor has a fantastic track record of delivering Rail projects to Network Rail time and time again and as such, have been rewarded with this fairly long term project working on Electrification of the Stirling/Dunblane/Alloa line.

THE ROLE
We are currently searching for two Site Agents able to begin work towards the end of April/start of May with Stations experience as that will be the bulk of the work to be done. With a total of 18 month’s work potentially available, this position is one not to be ignored at only 40 minutes travel from the centre of Glasgow and just over an hour from Edinburgh. The work will be a minimum of 6 months but we fully expect more work to be won taking it up to a total of 18 months. You will be expected to work night shifts but it will be a regular pattern so you’ll be able to plan your work life balance accordingly.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal Site Agent for this position will have previous experience working on Station refurbishments within the Rail Civils industry. You will be able to write Work Package Plans, Task Briefings and Method Statements as well as control the delivery of the project with a strong on-site presence. You are required to have PTS, ICI, OLEC 1, CSCS, First Aid and an SMSTS. If you do not have one of these qualifications, it will make it very difficult for you to be shortlisted for this position.

THE RATE
The rate for this position will be a flat rate of £300-£325 per day but will be dependent on your experience.
