SITE AGENT/LOGISTICS MANAGER

“You will be the Site Agent/Logistics Manager that is responsible for the safe delivery of the servicing and maintenance programme for 28 RRAPs and 18 Compounds throughout route sections 6P, 8 & 9.”

ATA are proud to be working in partnership with one of Network Rail’s Principal Rail Contractors to source a Site Agent/Logistics Manager to join their ever-expanding Rail team. An excellent company that have continued to grow their Rail team year on year since first winning CP5 works, you will have the opportunity to progress through promotion and expand your knowledge of the Rail industry.

THE ROLE
Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that controlled RRAP compounds along the route sections 6P, 8 & 9 are serviced and maintained and are available for use by third parties as and when required. You will be required to carry out ongoing inspections of the 28 RRAPs and report back to the client as required as well as working alongside the Project Manager to arrange for pricing of additional works to the Compounds and RRAPs before carrying out the works as directed by the client. You will also be required to prepare and obtain approval for all site documents such as Work Package Plans, Task Briefs, Lift Plans and Permits to Dig etc.

THE IDEAL AGENT
The ideal candidate for this role will come from a Civil Engineering background within Rail and will have excellent knowledge of Civils work. It is expected you will have a minimum of a HNC/HND in Civil Engineering plus an SSSTS or SMSTS is required and you must have a valid PTS Card. You will also require knowledge of the route as a necessity as the sites are very large and extremely busy. This is not a "walk in the park" type role by any means and in fact, you will be expected to perform to a very high standard.

THE PACKAGE
You will be paid around £300 per day and the hours of work will be Monday to Friday with 8 to 10 hours per day. The contract is likely to begin in around 2 weeks time and will finish in December of 2018.
