What can you bring to this role?

• A professional qualification in Civil Engineering: HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
• Experience working with a main contractor on rail schemes
  • Platform extensions, platform gauging, Asset management, station refurbishments, station improvements, embankment repairs, retaining walls, drainage, bridges, bridge deck replacements, structural repairs, footbridges
• Having experience on not just the site operations but also the commercial elements to the project will be key

What will you be doing as Sub Agent / Site Agent?

A normal day will involve working closely with the operations teams out on site, ensuring all engineering activities are completed correctly. You’ll ensure designs specifications are met and any buildability issues are resolved as effectively as possible. Liaising with design teams, senior managers, and site operatives will keep you on your toes every day.

As Sub Agent / Site Agent you’ll also have the chance to get involved in the preconstruction phase of the projects, working across a variety of rail projects from asset management to slightly larger minor civils works. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is keen to gain more experience over the full lifecycle of a project.
