The Company
Ganymede is currently working alongside a successful Tier 1 contractor to Network Rail with a rich history of delivery large and small civil engineering projects across the Rail sector covering minor and major works as well as consistently performing to a high level across Control Period frameworks. You’d be joining a well-known company that are experts in their field and continue to thrive during the challenges that Covid-19 has brought upon us in a safe and efficient manner.

The Role
Two Site Agents are required immediately for two separate site locations on a freelance basis for around 12 weeks with a possible opportunity to join the team on a permanent basis should you perform well within the role. One location is North West Wales and the other is Mid—Wales.

As Site Agent you will be required to join their Covid-secure sites currently providing drainage, earthworks and other general civils works as the site draws to a close.

Your duties will include:

• Dealing with the various paperwork required on such a project including Work Package Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and other forms required for closure and hand back of a project.
• Monitoring safety on site to ensure Covid rules and regulations are followed and that each member of the team goes home following each working day.
• Taking inductions
• Taking out Quality Checks
• Ensuring the project is successful and works are delivered on time and to budget.
• Any other tasks required on a relatively small site that would be expected of a team member to ensure it is a success.

The Requirements
As Site Agent, you will need a minimum of a HND/HNC within Civil Engineering and you will have a strong background in Rail focused civil engineering projects across the Network Rail infrastructure. As you may expect, holding a valid PTS is necessary and having an SMSTS/SSSTS is also expected.

You must also be available immediately as we require someone to start as soon as possible.

The Pay

You will be paid between £320 and £350 per shift inclusive of all costs dependant on your experience in a similar role.
