SITE AGENT - RAIL - NORTH WEST - PERMANENT

Site Agent required to join a leading Rail contractor in the North West, on a permanent basis. The contractor has recently been awarded a number of contracts in the North west, and require an experienced Site Agent to assist with the delivery of the works. This role would suit someone who has an engineering background, with 5+ years experience of delivering similar projects and someone who is keen to develop their career.

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related subject
• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering rail & Civil engineering projects
• Excellent understanding of Network Rail standards and policies
• Able to demonstrate effective communication at all levels, from stakeholder engagement, community members as well as staff members and sub-contractors
• Ability to develop long standing relationships with key stakeholders
• SMSTS
• PTS

The role will involve:

• Delivering major rail infrastructure projects, involving platform and station works, AFA schemes and other multi-disciplinary projects
• Completing project paperwork such as Work Package Plans & Task briefings
• Undertaking the role of a Temporary Works Coordinator
• Arranging and coordinating community engagement projects
• Overseeing the planning, commercial and operational functions
