Site Agent

Pay: £500 – 520 per day Via Umbrella PAYE (No CIS/LTD)

Location: Newcastle

Duration: 6-10 months plus

My Client is in the market for an experienced Site Agent to come on board a highways projects. The ideal Agent will also be required to assist with the delivery of Structures widening site wide and the delivery of a new footbridge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Agent will demonstrated experience in the safe, efficient delivery of infrastructure projects in a site role, you will be adept at managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• The Agent will be required to assist in the delivery of the works, challenging the design for value engineering and ensuring a high quality of delivery on site.
• Sub-contract packages will be managed by the Agent through weekly meetings, monthly forecasting and on site measurement.
• A high standard of personal safety is expected with this standard transferred to all works in your section.
• The Agents strong leaderships skills will help to develop and mentor junior staff.
• Mentoring and guidance of the site engineering team will be required, to bring them on in their careers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previously worked on roads/ highways/ Motorways/ structures projects must
• Previous bridge construction experience is a must
• Previous heavy civil based project is beneficial
• Strong knowledge and working experience with earthworks
• Quality Assurance
• Previously managed site teams & packages of work
• Ensure compliance with designs
• Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
• Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
• Previously worked main contractor experience
• Have a CSCS qualification specific to the works will be undertaking
• Health and Safety Compliance
• Worked for Tier 1 contractor is a preference
• Good team-working skills, particularly in relation to the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects
• Good communication skills at all levels
