About The Role
Our client is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineer and construction companies
We’re looking for a Sub Agent to join the Calvert Area (CA) team based near Buckingham. In order to be considered for this role you must hold a full driving license.
Our Sub Agent will need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.
The Sub Agent role will require you to liaise with our Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You'll also manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.
You'll be assisting with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is a key part of this role.
Assistance will also be required with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.
About The Candidate
• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
• Must have experiences of working on Structures, Highways and/or drainage
• You must hold the following competencies:
• SMSTS
• CSCS White, White/Yellow, Red-Experienced, Black-Manager or Gold-Supervisor
