A known civil engineering organisation who is engage in the modernisation and maintenance of our national railways infrastructure have a need for skilled PTS Site Engineers to assist and manage the varied Setting-out duties required and dictated by the project. This work with span a good part of the M4 corridor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project CM, you the PTS Site Engineer will be responsible to carry out, leading and managing site survey and Setting-out requirements using Totalstation, GPS.
As the PTS Site Engineer, you will be accountable for the production of daily surveys and associated reports as required. You will need to attend project progress meetings and assist in the production of progress reports together assisting with the planning of further Setting-out and site survey requirements.
The appointed PTS Site Engineer will need to possess the following:
- Strong Setting-out and site survey skills, able to accurately operate Totalstation, GPS (TS15/16)
- Experience of setting-out for civil, Rail Civils and build installations; Piling, Bases and Foundations, etc.
- Ability to effectively read and interoperate technical drawings and produce creditable and accurate reports on a daily basis
- Accurate, delivery focused and delivery proud!
