My client, a specialist rail contractor is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a long term contract until Summer 2025 in East London ! The contract is carrying out a train station depot modification valued currently at £5m and required an additional Engineer to join the team carrying out setting out and paperwork duties.

There will be possessions involved so you will need to be open to working some weekend work and occasional nights.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Producing As-builts
• Setting out
• Managing subcontractors
• Read and review construction plans
• Daily site diaries, daily record keeping
• Carrying out quality inspections and paperwork as required
• Ensuring health and safety on site

Candidate requirements:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Valid CSCS card
• PTS
• Experience managing civil rail projects
