The Project

As a Site Engineer, you will carry out work on a highway's development between East Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

• CSCS Card
• Driving Licence
• First Aid
• HNC / NVQ or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

For this role it is desirable that you hold the skills & experience below;

• Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of engineering principles and CDM Regs
• Experience as an engineer on civil highways projects

• Reporting to: Senior Engineer

Duties

• Supervising works
• Attend team briefs
• Testing of site materials
• Ordering materials & plant
• Producing 2D & 3D site sketches
• Facilitate agreement of variations
• Attend in-house progress meetings
• Carrying out pre contract site surveys
• Setting up and maintaining site control
• Setting out Sites and organising facilities
• Ensuring compliance with works standards
• Inspection & Test Plans and maintain as built records
• Completion of site inductions and TBTs when needed
• Management of the project quality plan and QA records
• Keep up to date and accurate site diaries & other site admin
• Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
• Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
• Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
• Coordinate site engineering and setting out activities and provide information to subcontractors and site staff
