We are currently looking for various Site Engineers on a contract basis to come from a Highways background working on the M4 junction 3-12 with the projects office being based within the Reading area. Within the role you will work on earthworks, Drainage, and junction junctions improvement undertaking the Setting Out.

The purposed of the role is to undertake Site Engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress. As the Site Engineer your duties may be, but not limited too:

• Setting out from primary control provided by others
• Read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specification
• Production of Task Briefing Sheets
• Contribution to production of Permit to Dig, including briefing to the workforce
• Carries out associated briefings
• Carries out Safety Inspections
• Hazard Identification and contribution to development of Safe System of Work

 
Job Requirements

• Setting out techniques ability to use level & EDM, plus GPS
• Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card
• Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights
• Strong understanding of construction tolerances
