Site Engineer

Randstad CPE currently has an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer with civils experience to get involved on various projects on a permanent basis. The head office will be based in Bury however travel around sites in the North West should be expected.

This is a massive opportunity for any ambitious Site Engineer looking to progress their career. Role and Responsibility

• Preparation of civil general arrangement drawings
• Reading and interpretating drawings and moving with them with no supervision
• Interpretation of ground investigation reports
• Selection and appraisal of suppliers and their design submissions
• Identification of the temporary works requirements of the permanent works design.
• Co-ordination of design at all stages
• Attendance at design, progress and site meetings as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within civil engineering industry
• Groundworks, Infrastructure, Public Realm, drainage and roads experience is needed.
• Self motivation
• Be able to organise yourself and others workload
• Innovative thinking
• An excellent communicator
• A high level of diplomacy and customer focus
• Working within a team environment
