We are now working with a Rail contractor that now have an exciting opening in their team for a Site Engineer! This role is open to both contractors (outside IR35) and permanent staff and will offer a mix of both office based and site work.

You'll be overseeing site engineering works for various construction projects around the North West region.

Principal responsibilities:

• Planning & programming
• Production of tenders
• Approval of QA / documents such as RAMs

Key skills/experience required:

• Proven previous experience in a similar role
• UK Rail project experience
• Experience with Network Rail projects such as: Level crossings, lineside works
• Commercial knowledge
• Competent in civil engineering standards
