PTS Site Engineer

Location: Swindon

Rate: £350 - £350 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 Months + with an extension

Summary of the Site Engineer:

I am currently recruiting for a Site Engineer confident in setting out using GPS/ Total Station surveying equipment to work on a rail project in the Swindon area.

Responsibilities for the Site Engineer:

• Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
• Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed
• Setting out and surveying
• Managing subcontractors
• Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
• Good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering

Requirements for the Site Engineer:

• Previously worked as Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer or in a similar position
• Competent in the use of setting out equipment!
• Must have a Valid PTS !!
• Holds a CAT and Genny ticket
• Degree educated in a civil engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
