Site / Setting Out Engineer - Rail

Location: Doncaster / Site Based

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus car / van, fuel car and package

Summary

A successful railway infrastructure contractor specialising in track installation & signalling is looking to hire an experience site / setting out engineer to join their team on a prestigious rail projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

- Setting out and monitoring of works on site
- Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans
- Conduct site surveys and ensure the correct levels and measurements are established.
- Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification
- Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
- Raising of technical queries
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications

Requirements:

- A degree or HND in a relevant subject would be desirable.
- Previous experience working within the railway environment.
- Proficiency in using total stations, GPS equipment, and other surveying tools
- PTS/CSCS card
