My Nationwide Engineering client are looking for an Assistant BIM Manager, with experience in Bentley, to join their dynamic and innovative team helping to continuously drive and build the business.

The role will involve:

The successful candidate will be Involved in the design and delivery of a UK wide BIM implementation plan.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the Design and delivery of a strategic BIM Implementation Plan
• Develop and maintain BIM Protocols and Standards to ISO19650
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the BIM, with an initial focus on Bid support.
• Cost calculations for Bid support (5D)
• Maintain BIM level 2 Protocol compliance within IMS and certification.
• Reality Modelling
• Construction planning and sequencing for risk reduction and execution rehearsal (4D)
• BIM to Engineering Analysis workflows
• Visualisation of models, sequence, and data
• Member of the company-wide BIM Implementation team

The Ideal Candidate:

• BIM software knowledge – Bentley Micro Station expereince is required.
• Previous experience working on multiple engineering schemes.
• railway industry knowledge
• Previous experience within design and construction
• Other relevant, transferable BIM software knowledge
• Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and flexibility
• Confident and assertive to enable challenges to be overcome and risks escalated.

Key qualifications / experience

• BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng, HND/HDC
• experience of delivering of building or civil engineering schemes.
• Lead and inspire technical ability.
