We are currently dealing with a major Engineering Contractor who are looking at recruiting an Assistant Civil Structures Construction Manager to be based in Birmingham working on the Midland Metro scheme. As the Assistant Construction Manager will work alongside the Construction manager to ensure the day-to-day management and delivery of projects Civil and Structures within the Alliance, in support of the relevant portfolio Project leader. Job Requirements
As mentioned, this position is based in Birmingham and would require a presence of 5 days a week in the office/site so could suit candidates in the surrounding West Midlands regions. If position is of interest, then dont hesitate to contact Sebastian at Critical Project Resourcing.
- Deliver individual projects or parts of projects in a safe & environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality, in accordance with the Alliance Principles
- Perform the above tasks in accordance with the Alliance Charter
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the WMCA, ensuring they are suitably consulted and informed throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the change and risks within the project life cycle for allocated schemes, in accordance with the processes set in place by the Alliance, and its individual participants
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental procedures.
- Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures.
- Experience working on Civil Structures projects.
