BIM Manager - Metro - UAE

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive BIM Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This individual will be responsible for leading and coordinating the BIM process across all phases of railway projects, from design through to construction and commissioning. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of BIM plans, facilitating seamless collaboration, and delivering high-quality, on-time BIM outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the overall BIM process for railway projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Define, implement, and manage the BIM Execution Plan and Digital Twin Plan.
Oversee project schedules, manage risks, and address any issues related to BIM activities.
Develop and control federated models, ensuring integration across disciplines.
Maintain and communicate the BIM deliverables list, ensuring clarity and accountability.
Ensure the production and timely delivery of BIM models with the required quality and accuracy.
Set up and enforce Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures for all BIM deliverables.
Manage the sharing of information across disciplines through a controlled, ISO19650-compliant process, ensuring effective use of shared data.
Identify and resolve model coordination issues, leading clash detection and resolution efforts.
Coordinate BIM activities through regular meetings, reporting progress, and collaborating with clients and contractors.
Verify the Level of Information in models and ensure interface alignment.
Collaborate closely with the Project BIM Manager and Digital Delivery Manager to ensure smooth integration of BIM with the broader project strategy.
Utilize BIM to manage interfaces and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively identify potential issues, propose solutions, and ensure smooth project delivery.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM management, specifically for large-scale railway projects (including buildings, viaducts, tunnels, etc.).
Strong expertise in railway trackwork systems (design, installation, operation, and maintenance).
Understanding of various railway systems, such as signaling, traction power, telecommunications, MEPS, depot equipment, and rolling stock.
Extensive experience in requirements definition, interface management, and contract management in a BIM context.
Proficiency in tools like Requirement Traceability Matrix and Interface Registers, particularly in a Common Data Environment (CDE).
Solid experience in managing contractor and subcontractor design activities and ensuring contract compliance.
Knowledge of the full project lifecycle, from design through to construction and commissioning.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).
Languages:

Proficiency in English is required.
Arabic language skills are an advantage.
