We are currently dealing with a major engineering consultancy who are looking to expand their Commercial bid and tenders team in Manchester to work on some of the UKs leading engineering projects.
As bid coordinator a typical day will consist of organizing and coordinating the activities necessary to produce and submit a range of high-quality questionnaires, tenders, and opportunities. Additionally, when in the role you will need to monitor e-portals for new opportunities and tender information, to keep the bid teams and business development one step ahead. The role will also require you to support bid managers to respond to high priority and strategic tenders when required.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience is required, from which you should be able to:
- Demonstrated good organizational skills and abilities.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Have great communication skills.
- Highly adaptive.
- Experience in producing and maintain schedules that will aid in the successful delivery of a bid.
- Ability to define the fundamental requirements of a bid.
- It is essential that you have good working knowledge of coordinating non-strategic bids. When necessary be able to adapt as to meet the complexity of your bid.
