About The Role
A new opportunity has become available to work within our successful tendering team to help ensure the continued and rapid growth of our company
Whilst previous Tender Management experience would absolutely be welcomed, this role would also suit a self-motivated individual from an Engineering, Construction or Project Management Background who is looking for a new challenge, drawing on previous experience in either the Rail, Telecomms or Power industry or with a Technology Based background
Key Duties & Responsibilities
As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following:
- • Working within a structured Business Development and Tendering Process
• Entering, updating and tracking opportunities in our Client Relationship Management System
• Managing a matrix bid team of Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, Planners, Commercial, HSQE etc….
• Managing pre-qualification responses, largely drawn from an extensive library and history of successful project delivery
• Managing Tender Launch Meetings, Technical Reviews, Peer Reviews and Management Reviews (Settlement Meetings)
• Managing written bid responses including facilitating ‘storyboarding’ sessions
• Managing pricing activities including collation of final pricing for tenders
• Ensuring that tender submissions are compliant, compelling and submitted on time
• Managing the post tender process including post tender queries and post tender meetings
• Working closely with our commercial team from successful notification through to contract execution
• Handover of successful tenders/contracts into our well-established project delivery teamsWorking in a progressive business any applicant would of-course require excellent interpersonal skills and be confident at using a wide range of IT systems

Essential Attributes & Skills
- Educated to HNC/Degree level or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience of Railway Signalling, Telecomms and Electrical infrastructure projects
- Experience of Bids and Tendering activities or similar experience in a project Management or equivalent roll
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office products and others as required

Monday to Friday, Office based position.
