Bid Manager - Rail Contractor - Coulsdon, Surrey - £55K - £65K + Package
Are you a bid manager, or have you come from an operational background looking to get into bid management? Have you had experience on projects across the Rail / Building Services sectors? Or perhaps that is an industry you want to be invovled in.
My client, who specialise in Building Services and Comms are looking for a Bid Manager to join their team down in Coulsdon, Surrey. The projects they work on typically value anywhere from £250k up to £20 Million and they are invovled in a number of rail projects with clients such as London Underground and Network Rail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Bid Managers in the development of responses that are attractive, concise and bring out the benefits of our offer and check the quality and consistency of responses in terms of themes, messages, key phrases and key words
- Build an internal network of key contacts to ensure access to accurate and up-to-date company information on structure, accounts, safety stats etc.
- Assist at tender launch meetings to ensure accountabilities and deadlines are clear for document production as well as organising the distribution of tender documents/amendments for appropriate parties
Key Requirements:
- A creative and compelling writer with experience in managing the production of bids, documents and submissions
- Ability to control the flow of information between numerous stakeholders
- Being a team player
- Excellent communication skills
