Introduction
Our client is a railway engineering service provider that offers a comprehensive range of railway construction, infrastructure and service products. They currently have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager with Project Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation of bids and tenders
- Review opportunities and invitations received to tender and identify suitability against the business strategy
- Understanding customer requirements and development of appropriate bid strategy
- Responsible for completing documentation within a timely manner
- Preparation of detailed budget costings to support submissions
- Customer interface for ongoing bids and follow up of submissions
Requirements
- Excellent communicator and team player who has the ability to engage people from different disciplines
- Someone that is self motivated and can get on with the job
- Experience of track works, civil engineering, tunnel works, slab track and overhead line
- Suitable evidence of qualifications to support the application
