Bid Manager

Due to company growth, we are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join our client who are growing their Bid team. They are a principal contractor for mainline and underground works, and are now looking to extend their project delivery capability, initially by centralising their bidding efforts and removing this requirement from the project delivery team.

The Bid Manager will be accountable for:

• Manage and control bid process
• Accountable for entire lifecycle (end to end) Bid process*
• Support post bid submission work; presenting to customers
• Matrix Management, no staff reporting to them, but due to the nature of role will work & lease with internal teams

Liaise with:

Supply chain, clients (NR, TFL) including their technical team and procurement teams*

A good achiever will;

Take Full ownership of Bid Process (unsure how this can be validated)

Be able to interface well at Director Level

Take ownership of their Bids throughout the lifecycle

Interviews will be held w/c 23rd Apr 18
