We are working with a main contractor who are currently seeking an experienced Bid Manager. to be successful in this position you must have previous experience in the delivery of Rail projects ideally within Rail Comms. As Bid Manager you will be responsible for the preparation of Bids and Tenders for the client

Main Duties will include:
Interpretation of Customer requirements and development of appropriate bid strategy.
Timely planning and completion of Expressions of Interest, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Bid Documentation and Quotes as required by the Business
Preparation of detailed Budget Costings to support Submissions and Presentation of Submissions for review and acceptance by Bid Review Panel.
Responsible for reviewing bid submissions for quality and accuracy;
Engagement of Departmental resource as required to support Submissions.
Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, whilst sharing best practice with the team
Customer interface for ongoing Bids and follow up of Submissions
Maintenance of Opportunity Database and Bid Register. Identifies, initiates and participates in any projects that will support the company and its subsequent potential in winning and delivering successful contracts
Compiling, updating and maintaining a library of company standard tender documentation and maintaining records relating to submissions and successes;
Responsibility for project managing large, strategically important bids on a national/international basis and ensuring the quality of the response meets the company standards.
