My rail/engineering client is looking to expand their growing team to add capacity to their already well-established team. The successful candidate has previous bid management experience Rail and Engineering projects including Civils, P-Way, Signalling and OLE to hit the ground running and lead the work winning process.

The Role will involve

·Managing the development and production of tenders within a pre-established commercial framework.

·Negotiating with clients to successfully close contracts.

·Establish, monitor, and manage a programme for the tender activity.

·Allocate all deliverables to named individuals and monitor/manage to ensure tender programme is maintained.

·Act as main point of contact for client body during tender process.

·Lead the tender settlement process.

·Co-ordinate preparation of tender submission documentation ensuring compliance with requirements.

·Lead the tender handover process.

·Attending bid pipeline meets where necessary, contributing to bid/no bid decisions.

·Taking part in audits as required.

·Proposals for changes to term structure/approach to tendering activity

·Lead production of/input into production of PQQ responses etc where required.

The ideal Candidate has:

·Significant Bid Management experience within Rail and Engineering

·Engineering/Construction related Degree

·Stakeholder Management skills

·Excellent communication skills and experience of presentations

·Leadership qualities

·Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills

·Working exposure to complex contact management

·Full UK driving license
