The Role
As Carbon Manager, you will oversee and implement carbon requirements across high-profile projects, including Systems and Station Build. Leading a team of two Carbon Specialists, you will ensure robust processes are in place to achieve ambitious carbon reduction targets while supporting the development of procedures to integrate sustainability into every aspect of delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and implement carbon reduction strategies and Net Zero Carbon plans.
- Lead a team of two Carbon Specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Oversee contractors to ensure compliance with carbon reduction targets, reviewing their performance and providing assurance.
- Develop and support the implementation of carbon-related procedures and processes.
- Collaborate with project teams on Systems and Station Build, ensuring sustainability objectives are met.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders to drive outcomes aligned with organisational goals.
About You
You are a proactive and experienced professional with a passion for sustainability and a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders.Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of climate change, carbon reduction, and air quality principles.
- Proven ability to oversee and assure contractor performance against sustainability targets.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build strong relationships.
- Experience in developing and implementing procedures and processes for carbon management.
