Customers come to us because we can take on and solve any kind of challenge, no matter how complex. Join our Rail team as a Commissioning Manager on the London Underground and you'll help make this happen.

What you'll be doing

As a Commissioning Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Supports, where appropriate, all technical and commercial aspects of the mechanical and electrical installation on BBES projects.
  • Ensure that operations in the factory and on site are carried out in a safe manner and ensure that the companys business processes are followed in carrying out the construction project
  • Maintain good client relationships on the project
  • Must be fully conversant in Power commissioning on London Underground and /
    or Network Rail
  • Must be conversant on London Underground systems and policies

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

  • Significant management experience within the construction or relevant support services industries, together with a strong understanding of technical issues and trends in the traction and or power sectors.
  • The individual should ideally have experience of traction power supply systems for rail or have previously had design experience with low voltage to medium voltage switchboard design.
  • The individual will ideally hold a degree in an appropriate discipline (a minimum of HNC / ONC or equivalent in a relevant subject is expected) or similar.
  • Corporate membership of a professional body is desirable.
  • Evidence of recent management/leadership development is desirable.
  • An HNC in Contracting Management (or equivalent) is desirable
